Review of Train Table (Thomas Train Table)

 My Train Table Review

Recommended
If you are thinking of purchasing a train table for your son or daughter I highly recommend getting one.  Train tables might be expensive, but from my experience, it is the one toy that my son consistently plays with and keeps him and his friends occupied.  After getting his train table, I moved almost all of his old toys into storage because he never wants to play with them.  So I would say that although a train table is expensive, if you add up the cost of all of the other toys that he no longer plays with, it would be about the same as a train table.

The Cost of Train Tables
Many parents avoid train tables because of the cost, but there are some ways to get a train table for a bargain.  I would try checking local garage sales and Craig's list.  I got mine at a Garage sale with tracks, trains, and a few buildings for $75 and then added a few more Thomas pieces as time passed.  You could also buy one of the "all-in-one" off-brand train sets and add Thomas pieces.  Ikea also has some great track pieces for a steal that can help you build the layout of your train if you build the train table yourself.
