I really wanted to like my Hotsling, but I have been very disappointed with it. I found a few problems with it:
- Baby never feels secure even when you follow all the instructions and your baby looks exactly like it does on the "how-to" diagrams.
- Sizing is a problem. When you first have a baby you need one size because you still have the extra baby weight. When your baby in older, you need a smaller size because you are smaller.
One Note: My daughter isn't old enough to use this with her legs through (on my hip). I could see that it might work well like this, but can't say for sure because I haven't tried it. The Hotsling is built to carry up to 35 lbs, which does give it a longer use life than the baby bjorn.
The one benefit I see to the Hotsling is that it travels very nicely. All you have to do is fold the material and stuff it in your bag.
